State of the Art

The new cable roughener sets the standard for cable preparation prior to connector potting.

It enables fast, precise, and efficient preparation of the cable jacket for the molding or potting process. A high-precision grinding wheel rotates around the stationary cable, roughening the jacket surface in a controlled manner.

This targeted treatment ensures significantly improved adhesion between the cable jacket and the potting material – resulting in maximum tightness and strength, even under extreme environmental conditions such as humidity, temperature fluctuations, or mechanical stress.

The original cable roughener was developed and manufactured by B&B Gerätetechnik GbR years ago.

In collaboration with Dr. Horst Beyer, we have consistently refined the proven concept and created a successor that fully meets current industrial requirements.

Thus, the new cable roughener combines proven technology with innovative advancements – for reliable, efficient, and future-proof cable preparation in modern cable and connector manufacturing.
